Alex is a writer, producer, and director with his company, Savage Films. Ken is his second narrative short film.
Alex Black is a Director/Writer/Producer with more than a decade of experience in film and advertising. He’s particularly interested in the thriller and sci-fi genres. He aims to tell stories that are both entertaining, have a strong underlying theme, with a distinct viewpoint on our society.
His last short film, Lycanthropy, won 11 awards and was selected in 38 festivals worldwide. It was subsequently distributed by ShortsTV, the world’s biggest channel for short films. His feature script New Washington is currently ranked in the top 18% of scripts on Coverfly.
Alex also runs his own production company, Savage Films, which has created films and animations for brands like Disney, Wimbledon, Heineken, Virgin, the BBC and VICE.
